Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to join our growing team. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents on our SIEM solution. You will perform initial triage of potential security incidents, gather information, and escalate incidents as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- First response support by analysing alerts and gathering information about potential incidents or vulnerabilities.
- Incident analysis and response using security runbooks and playbooks.
- Review and tuning of alerts and proposal of automation tasks.
- Mentoring and coaching within the team on new procedures/playbooks developed.
- Escalation of incidents as needed.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong interest in Cyber Security with excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as a team member.
- Creative and imaginative problem solver.
- Cyber Security background and qualifications ideal.
- Possible background in IT admin/support roles.
- Demonstrative aptitude and interest in Cyber Security as a possible change of career.
- Prior roles showing enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
