About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to join our team at the Marino Institute of Education. As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the TEACHer project, an 18-month initiative funded by the European Commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the principal investigator in the planning and execution of project activities
  • Collaborate with the research team to collect and analyse data
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including teachers and researchers
  • Contribute to the development of innovative digital resources for teacher-researchers
  • Monitor and respond to email communication about the project
  • Coordinate the Community of Practice (CoP) and manage its membership list
  • Collect and collate quality assurance data in collaboration with the team

Requirements:

  • A Level 8 qualification in Education or a cognate discipline
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to give up to 25 hours per month (1 day per week) to the role
  • Administrative experience (e.g., Word, Excel)
  • Advanced research skills including data analysis and dissemination
  • Knowledge of education research ethics
