Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced automation specialist to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, with expertise in building and maintaining automated test suites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure thorough testing of requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment. They will also be responsible for disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of product defects, as well as implementation of reporting technologies integrated with automated test runs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementation and execution of automated test suites to ensure thorough testing of requirements
  • Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of product defects
  • Implementation of reporting technologies integrated with automated test runs

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years' experience in test automation
  • Practical experience of test automation including tooling selection and test framework design
  • Hands-on technical experience of building both API and UI test automation frameworks in a range of languages and technologies
  • Experience and hands-on knowledge of scripting languages
  • Experience with automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
  • Senior to mid-level communication skills for working in a multi-disciplinary agile team
