This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Finance Assistant. The position involves working closely with our clients to manage their financial affairs, providing exceptional support and administrative expertise.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Client liaison and engagement pack preparation
- Direct debit arrangement setup and maintenance
- Invoice issuance and cash collection management
- Chaser system implementation and follow-ups
- Regular bank account and Xero system reconciliations
- Weekly report generation for partners
- Internal payroll and accounts payable management
- VAT statement preparation for our external accountant
- Staff expense oversight and general office administration
Candidate Requirements:
- Several years experience in a similar role
- Industry-standard software proficiency, including Xero and Chaser
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction
- Desirable: accounting qualifications or prior experience in an accounting practice
