We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector / Auditor to join our team at our Cork based electronics manufacturing facility.

About the Role:

This permanent position involves performing inspection and auditing duties to ensure products meet applicable standards, specifications, and procedures. The successful candidate will report to the Quality Supervisor and be responsible for inspecting products, documenting results, and releasing products for customer shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting inspections of products and associated documentation to verify compliance with established standards, specifications, and procedures.
  2. Communicating non-conformances and documenting inspection results.
  3. Creating certificates of conformance and compiling required documentation for customer shipments.
  4. Maintaining accurate records and archives as per operating procedures.
  5. Collaborating with Production Team Leaders to prioritize tasks and ensure completion.
  6. Supporting Improvement Team activities, such as LEAN and 5S initiatives.
  7. Providing assistance to other Quality Auditors as needed.
  8. Offering support to Operators and Test Technicians as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Relevant working experience from electronics manufacturing industries and familiarity with inspection standards – e.g., IPC-A-610.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and operating procedures.
