The role of a Dental Nurse involves providing chairside assistance during various treatment procedures, anticipating patient needs and offering support. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate dental charting and treatment notes, adhering to strict infection control protocols, and decontaminating and sterilizing dental instruments, equipment, and materials.

Dental Nurses work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling. They are also responsible for educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions, as well as managing and maintaining dental supplies and inventory.

Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and personability are essential qualities for a Dental Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, take initiative, and always put patients first. A great command of the English language is also required, both written and spoken.

This position requires previous experience in a clinic environment, but it is not essential. What is important is that the successful candidate is a team player, flexible, reliable, and hardworking.
