Manufacturing Process Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality manufacturing processes and supporting the development of innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Support internal production teams and external customers/suppliers by providing engineering expertise and guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless introduction into production.
  • Oversee prototype manufacture and validation, guaranteeing compliance with specifications and scalability.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to machinery, processes, and methods to improve efficiency and output.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce operational costs while improving delivery performance.
  • Apply lean manufacturing practices throughout the facility.
  • Support the implementation and roll-out of ERP systems, including process development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma training (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems; hands-on implementation experience beneficial.
  • 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering role.
  • Background in process development, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Exposure to prototype manufacturing, testing, and validation processes.

Key Technical Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and methodologies.
  • Skill in CAD software (Solid Works, Auto CAD) for process and tooling design.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methods and use of statistical tools.
  • Experience with RCA, FMEA, and CAPA methodologies.
  • Awareness of health, safety, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing settings.
