We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our nursing home as a Director of Residential Care. As the ideal candidate, you will possess excellent leadership and organisational skills, with a proven track record in providing outstanding care to older adults. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate all clinical staff to ensure high standards of residential care.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring smooth running and optimal staffing levels.
- Maintain relationships with residents based on respect and equality, while promoting person-centred care.
Qualifications & Experience:
A Third Level Degree in Nursing is essential, along with active registration with An Bord Altranais. A post-registration qualification in Healthcare Management (Level 6) is desirable. Minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in a nursing home and 1 year in management roles, is required. Proven leadership skills and a passion for providing outstanding care to older adults are essential.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership and organisational skills are crucial. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as the ability to manage and inspire a team, are also necessary.
