As an Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative projects across various market sectors. Our team of enthusiastic and experienced engineers work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to design and implement electrical building services solutions.
About the RoleYou will work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer on all aspects of project delivery from concept to hand-over. This involves contributing to feasibility studies, option appraisals, scheme and detail design using calculation spreadsheets, specialist electrical design software, AutoCAD, and Revit.
The role also involves visiting sites during the construction stage to monitor progress and quality of the installation works. You will work closely with other team members both in our organisation and the wider design team, such as architects and structural engineers, and you will be expected to attend client meetings and demonstrate our values and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities- Complete Electrical Engineering Design on Projects as part of an integrated project team.
- Design and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards.
- Working directly with clients and project engineers to lead technical solutions.
- Carrying out electrical building services design, working solo on smaller projects, or as part of a larger electrical team, under a Senior Engineer, on larger more complex projects.
- Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.
- Provide off-site technical support to construction teams on projects.
