Job Title: Senior Controls EngineerOverview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our expanding team in the development of cutting-edge robotic systems and bespoke precision machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, program, and implement PLC control systems for custom-built machines and robotic systems
  • Support automation upgrades and commissioning for production and assembly lines
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Analyse customer workflows and production bottlenecks to design intelligent control architectures
  • Conduct testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting of both new and legacy systems
  • Support project delivery from concept through to on-site commissioning and handover
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and robot integration
  • Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, control panels, and system safety
  • Experience designing systems for high-speed manufacturing or precision machinery preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and engage with clients to tailor technical solutions
