We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in set-up and calibration tasks, rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and recommending procedures and methods, as well as preparing technical reports and documentation.

In this role, you will perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommend corrective action.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing delivery systems for client companies
  • Assembling, testing & packaging complex mechanical devices following written & verbal instructions.
  • Working with Engineers to design & develop assembly methods
  • Maintaining accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers
  • Training assemblers, technicians, & engineers in assembly methods
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Assisting with in-process testing to assure product meets specification
  • Operating computer, laboratory & manufacturing equipment to test & develop prototype products
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized as per required procedures.
  • Assisting in maintaining traceability of products.
