We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to join our team on a contract basis.

The role is located in a well-established GP practice and medical clinic based in the Ennis area of Co. Clare. The successful candidate will work approximately 10 weeks, covering the duties of a Medical Administrator.

The Role:

  • Deal with patients in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Book appointments for patients.
  • Perform reception duties.

Your Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a similar role within a GP practice.
  • Familiarity with HealthOne software packages or similar would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
  • Strong IT and data processing skills, including excellent typing abilities.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • A polite and clear telephone manner.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • In possession of a full driving license and own transport (for occasional visits to other clinics).

The Offer:

  • This is a contract position with competitive salary and benefits.
  • Working hours: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm, with one day off on Thursday.
