About the Role
Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas, powered by 97,000 high-performing teammates who make a real difference across the globe. As a Technology Summer Intern, you will support the Front Office Trading Technology team in Europe, leveraging the Global Markets Data Platform to develop reports and APIs that enable users to access data directly, eliminating manual processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Interact with Front Office business to review and discuss their requirements regarding Trading applications
- Support the Front Office Trading applications
- Perform analysis of root cause and themes
- Deep dive into solving technical issues and optimizing the platform configuration
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest resolutions

Requirements
- You are a penultimate year undergraduate student graduating in 2026 and studying a relevant degree (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering etc)
- You are familiar with one or more software development languages, Python, Java etc.
- You have good communication skills and some experience of presentations to stakeholders
- You are comfortable handling large amounts of data and performing data analysis (familiar with analysis techniques is a benefit)
- You have a growth mindset and are a complex problem solver
