Job Title: Claims Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Claims Quantity Surveyor to join our team and contribute their expertise in civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and assess contract documentation to identify potential claims for clients or relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather information related to claims and disputes, ensuring effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prepare and submit claims in accordance with contractual agreements, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to support claims and provide expert advice on dispute resolution and settlement negotiations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations related to claims and disputes within the construction industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on claims within civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and construction contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in relevant software tools.
