
Cybersecurity Operations Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or experienced professionals looking for a meaningful role in security operations.
This 3-month contract has the potential for extension and offers a hybrid setup with both on-site and remote collaboration.
The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9–5, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on project demands. A part-time option (three or four days per week) is also available as an alternative to full-time.
A daily rate of €300 applies to this role.
Responsibilities include:
- Investigating and resolving security-related ServiceNow tickets from start to finish.
- Processing vendor remote access requests and supporting their security review and setup.
- Contributing to the development and delivery of security awareness training, including planning and analysis of phishing test campaigns.
- Maintaining knowledge base articles on security topics to support internal awareness and documentation.
- Overseeing third-party patching processes to ensure timely and secure updates.
- Participating in incident response activities, including investigation and documentation.
- Helping identify and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in security management, cybersecurity, or a related field, along with foundational security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
- Internship or academic project experience in a security-related role, with basic understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), phishing, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, integrity, and availability concepts.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills to investigate issues and implications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively, proposing multiple solutions and seeking stakeholder consensus.
