Job OpportunityA senior engineering role has become available in Cork, offering a competitive remuneration package and benefits.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to join our team as a senior quality assurance specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough quality checks, driving high-quality engineering deliverables, and facilitating project delivery through proactive engagement with the delivery team.Key Responsibilities:
  • To conduct regular quality checks of the works
  • Drive quality engineering deliverables and promote a culture of excellence
  • Facilitate project delivery by engaging proactively with the delivery team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Apply construction assurance processes defined by relevant documents such as Engineering Management Plan, Quality Plan, and Inspection & Test Plans etc.
  • Liaise with designers to advise on constructability and review designs for compliance with constructability principles
  • Maintain a robust RFI & TQ process
  • Provide knowledge to designers to ensure constructability and integration with other disciplines
  • Provide an efficient technical issue resolution service for construction projects
  • Capture and process as-built data accurately and efficiently
  • Produce and document red line information against the design
