Job Title: Senior Cost Estimator and Project Coordinator

Description:
Purpose: As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for coordinating with project management and other departments to deliver high-quality services on projects. Your expertise in quantity surveying will be essential in securing new projects globally by highlighting potential risks and ensuring client specifications are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quantities and specifications align with project requirements.
  • Prepare payment applications and variations, submitting them with supporting data to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to tendering projects, forming relationships with clients' commercial and project teams.
  • Perform material take-offs and report any irregularities.
  • Keep track of project data, examine sub-contractors' invoices, and ensure contractual obligations are satisfied.
  • Identify changes in AFC and Tender drawings, prepare final accounts, and provide regular project performance reports.

Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 2+ years of experience in a QS role.
  • A Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of building BOQs and model dumping.
