Healthcare Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a healthcare support worker. As a healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients, promoting their independence and well-being.

About the Role:

  • Assisting patients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encouraging patients to participate in exercises and mobility activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Supporting patients with eating and drinking, and aiding in wound care and dressing changes.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Recording observations and reporting changes in patient condition.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • A caring and empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.
  • Full 8 modules of QQI/FETAC Level 5 completed or equivalent qualification.
