Traffic Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Operations Specialist to manage oncoming traffic and ensure the smooth flow of pedestrians and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Traffic Flow: Safely direct traffic to the correct location, minimizing congestion and ensuring the efficient movement of people and goods.
  • Maintain Order: Ensure that pedestrians and vehicles interact safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor and Report: Continuously monitor traffic conditions and report any issues or incidents to relevant authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Manual Handling Certificate: Possess a valid manual handling certificate to perform tasks safely and effectively.
  • Own Transport: Be able to provide own transport to travel to work and other locations as required.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Language: Fluently speak and understand English to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to interact with various individuals and groups.

Benefits:

  • Rates of Pay: €13.50 per hour for 5am-5pm shift, €15.00 per hour for 5pm-5am shift, and overtime paid at 1.5 times the normal rate.
