Mid-Senior Level Software Engineer Job

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer to join our team. As a mid-senior level software engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable applications for our Back and Middle Office stakeholder groups.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex problems requiring analytical skills and the ability to evaluate intangible variables. You will be responsible for designing and developing Java and spring-based applications, along with Python-based data processing layers and REST APIs for our software solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, responsive, scalable and flexible applications. Your experience in writing and testing scalable code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services will be invaluable.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Java and spring-based applications.
  • Develop Python-based data processing layers and REST APIs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality, responsive, scalable and flexible applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience developing software applications with a primary focus on Java (Spring framework).
  • Exposure to building applications and APIs using Python programming language, frameworks, libraries and packages.
  • Experience in writing and testing scalable code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services.
  • Relational database experience in Microsoft SQL server and PostgreSQL.
