Electrical Control Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge automation control systems.

The role involves designing and developing best-in-class electrical control panel solutions to support automation control systems across various industries using cutting-edge technologies.

Main responsibilities include:

">
  • ">
  • Designing and developing 2D and 3D electrical designs for complex automation projects using EPlan or Auto CAD Electrical">
  • Detailing electrical schematics and processes for build">
  • Generating budget and detailed quotations for panels and installations">
  • Source electrical components for designs">
  • Create test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs">
  • Assist in electrical debug of systems">
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers">
  • Meet project delivery deadlines">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A third-level qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science, or a qualified electrician with 3+ years of relevant industrial design experience">
  • Familiarity with electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, inverters, general panel equipment, drives, and pneumatics">
  • Experience using software packages such as Eplan P8, Eplan Pro Panel is essential">
  • Knowledge and understanding of PLC programming and control methodologies">
  • Knowledge of robotics, automation principles, and safety standards is a plus">
  • Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication and organisational skills">
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills">
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines">
  • Ability to take ownership of projects">
