Senior MES Engineer RoleAbout the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior MES Engineer to deliver, support and enhance Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions for leading life sciences manufacturers.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of building a new Ireland team from the ground up. You will work directly with top-tier life sciences companies and have the chance to progress towards senior technical or leadership roles.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering Syncade projects, including installation, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live support. You will also act as a trusted technical partner to our clients, providing expert advice and guidance on MES implementation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Syncade projects: installation, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live support
  • Act as a trusted technical partner to life sciences clients
  • Troubleshoot issues and optimize MES performance
  • SUPPORT compliance with GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance
  • Mentor junior engineers as the team grows
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 58+ years MES experience (Emerson Syncade strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on expertise in key Syncade modules: EBR, Materials, Weigh & Dispense, Equipment Tracking
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, VBScript, XML/XSL and system integrations
  • Understanding of MESDelta V interfaces and other manufacturing systems
  • Experience with system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
