Job Overview

Production Operators play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production activities, as well as supporting equipment to maintain optimum equipment uptime and target outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production activities, utilizing MES/DCS and PLC based systems to ensure maximum equipment efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain production areas, adhering to Lean Principles to continuously improve processes.
  • Manage equipment flow, including tracking soiled and clean hold times, proper labeling, and inventory management of clean and sterile equipment using Kanbans and automated MES system to set QC status and expiry of sterile equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting and repairs where qualified to perform tasks.
  • Contribute to the development of accurate operational procedures, training materials for various IPT systems; ensure all work is carried out in line with established standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
  • Apprenticeship, Certificate, or Diploma preferred, ideally in a related discipline.
  • Typically have prior related work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
