Job Description

We are seeking a senior heritage consultant to join our expanding team. This position is crucial in delivering our existing workload from across the island of Ireland and developing our business alongside other EIA services with RSK colleagues.

The appointee will deliver technical outputs of a high standard to time and budget, such as desk-based assessments, built heritage statements, EIA chapters and ad hoc technical advice.

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Have an understanding of the policy and legislative context for archaeological practice across the island of Ireland
  • A degree in archaeology or related subject
  • Experience in archaeological consultancy or commercial field work (5+ years)
  • Experience of report writing, preferably preparing DBAs and/or built heritage statements or evaluation reports
  • Full driving licence
  • Able and willing to carry out walk-over surveys in an outdoor environment in all weathers
  • Willingness to travel to work on projects across the island of Ireland
  • Be prepared to join a professional body for the historic environment
  • An understanding of the health and safety requirements relevant to the role
  • Good organisational & communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative

We offer a competitive salary range: €45,767.80 – €59,527.72 depending on experience and level of expertise.
