Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide essential technical support across our hospitality properties.

Key Responsibilities:

To collaborate with the IT manager to facilitate day-to-day IT operations
To configure and maintain PCs and user accounts on the internal IT system
To install, configure, and support business-specific applications, including MICROS POS and Oracle Opera
To develop and maintain SOP documentation for all IT department processes
To troubleshoot and provide support for printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals
To offer hands-on technical support across all departments, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and application issues

Requirements:

A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in IT support
A third-level IT qualification (minimum 2-year diploma) is required, with a willingness to undergo additional training as needed
Familiarity with Windows 11 Pro, firewalls, virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V), and server experience (WS2016 upwards) is advantageous
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential
Previous experience with MICROS POS and/or Oracle Opera interfacing is preferred
Knowledge of maintaining/troubleshooting domain IP networks, Active Directory, and Veeam Backup is desirable
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of AV systems is advantageous
The willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Flexibility to work overtime if required
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential
A valid driver's license is required
