The role of a Store Development Associate at Supervalu is to support the management team in the operation of the store while gaining experience in individual departments. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in retail operations and contribute to the success of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possession for grocery retail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment

Main duties include actively living SuperValu brand-values such as Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative, and Imaginative.

Additionally, you will set and monitor sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs agreed with the Store Manager.

You will also participate in all training and development initiatives, and performance assessments.

Maintenance of the store's appearance by merchandising and presenting the entire store to the highest standard at all times in accordance with relevant store planograms and guidelines.

Gain competence with all aspects of supply procedures - ordering, delivery procedures, stock rotation and control procedures.

Manage assigned departments and engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.
