Commercial Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of the commercial department, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of new build projects across the South-East of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure meticulous cost control and contractual precision on all projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure profitable delivery.
  • Administer complex contracts, including procurement, tendering, and the diligent valuation and negotiation of variations and claims.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Irish construction market.
  • Contractor background with a focus on new build commercial and/or residential projects.
  • Public contract knowledge and exceptional commercial awareness.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
