MES Design Engineer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
SimoTech is seeking a skilled MES Design Engineer to join their team in Dublin, supporting a key biopharmaceutical client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of MBR development, from requirement gathering through to configuration and testing.
About the Role:
This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in designing and configuring Werum PAS-X MBRs within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and test Werum PAS-X MBRs from initial concept to final approval.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
- Manage the full MBR development lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and documentation using HP Application Lifecycle Management.
- Provide support and technical expertise for the ongoing development of the site MES system, development of MBRs and improving the MES business process.
- Come up with fixes and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or similar field.
- 2+ years' MES design experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
