About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high standards of stock management and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Operating a forklift on a day-to-day basis to facilitate efficient stock movement and storage">
  • Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing expert advice on products as required">
  • Handling stock deliveries, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods">
  • Maintaining high standards of store presentation and cleanliness, including shop floor, yard, and display areas">
  • Adhering to policies and procedures for cash and merchandise security">
  • Participating in regular stock taking, including daily cycle counting and stock counts">
  • Flexibility across a range of departments, including product coding, pricing, and updating of prices on goods for re-sales">

What You Will Bring to Our Team:

  • ">
  • Learners permit/full drivers license required">
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential; experience within the agri sector/builders provider/hardware would be an advantage">
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment with a strong customer focus">
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to be flexible when the occasion demands it">
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; a team player">
