Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide high-quality care and support services to those in need. This role involves working closely with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support service users with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for our service users.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, mealtimes, and medication administration (where necessary).
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with service users, encouraging participation in activities that enhance their overall well-being.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of service user progress and contribute to ongoing care planning.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment is maintained at all times, adhering to relevant health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- A relevant QQI Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with additional needs and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
