Our Organisation

At our organisation, we are committed to supporting individuals with their independence and overall well-being. We are currently seeking social care workers/support workers to join our residential services in Edenderry.

  • Provide full-time support to individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities/autism in individualised settings.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with individuals and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • A nursing qualification (RNID/General/Mental Health NMBI registered) or a recognised diploma in Social Care/Applied Social Studies in Social Care/Disability/Social Care Practice (Level 7 on National Framework of Qualifications) which are CORU approved.
  • A valid driving licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
  • Experience of supporting adults with intellectual disabilities/autism.
  • Knowledge of HIQA Standards.
  • Good connections within the local community an advantage.
  • Ability to use initiative and plan effectively.
  • Basic level IT skills, including email, word documents, and systems.
