Job Title:Manufacturing Automation Specialist

As a Manufacturing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, implementation, maintenance and ongoing support of various manufacturing equipment specific applications and systems in a regulated environment.

  • You will work on a variety of equipment including standalone devices such as UV spectrometers, pH meters, particle samplers to networked equipment like wave rockers, chromatography skids, and cell analyzers.
  • You will oversee and execute automation preventative maintenance activities, generate documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and configuration specification documents.
  • You will provide SME support and work closely with functional departments on projects to develop, implement, and enhance systems.
  • You will implement software/hardware changes and upgrades, understand the impact of actions on manufacturing and facilities.
  • You will assist prior to, during, and post regulatory/partner inspections.
  • You will participate in or lead small manufacturing equipment projects to introduce new equipment or upgrade existing applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You should have relevant experience in Automation or IT.
  • You should be innovative, possess high attention to detail, and be results-driven.
  • You should be able to operate as part of a team in a highly interdependent environment.
  • You should have excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • You should have a BS/BA or higher in Automation, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years relevant experience.
