The Role

This role will be part of our Analytics team, working closely with compliance officers, program managers, analysts, and operational teams across the globe. As a Compliance Reporting Specialist, you will enable Remitly's regulatory compliance and reporting by building a global regulatory reporting program, enabling our compliance function to scale through data.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build a global regulatory reporting program, enabling our compliance function to scale through data.
  • Support high-visibility and sometimes time-sensitive responses to regulator requests.
  • Become an expert in the relevant data produced across multiple teams and customer experiences to enable accurate and timely reporting to support critical compliance functions.
  • Use analytics to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our compliance operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple roles, teams, and geographies.

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  • An obsession with data quality.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in an analytics role.
  • Experience modelling complicated scenarios with data then estimating their relative size and impact.
  • Experience in SQL, statistical modeling platforms (Python, R), data modeling.
  • Experience working in highly regulated organisations is preferred.
