Highly Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor Wanted for Exciting West of Ireland Projects

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will see you working within a well-established team on exciting construction projects in the west of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measurement, procurement, preparation of valuations
  • Preparation of tender reports
  • Prepare the financial elements of the tender
  • Post-tender negotiations
  • Liaising with PQS & design teams
  • Identifying & preparing variation claims
  • Subcontractor appointments & accounts, monthly reporting
Requirements:

Third level Degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying or similar

Knowledge of varying Irish Forms of Contracts and Contract Procedures and Protocol

Minimum of 8+ years QS experience

Required Skills:

Contractually and commercially astute

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Effective Team Player

Knowledge of Buildsoft Global Estimating/Cubit/Excel/Word

Attention to detail is a must

Ability to work on their own initiative
