Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QA Specialist to join our team remotely. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our games.

As a QA Specialist, you will work closely with our development team to identify, document, and track issues throughout the development process. Your goal is to ensure a polished and enjoyable gaming experience for our players.

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand game design and functionality requirements.
  • Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on game design documents and specifications.
  • Execute test cases to identify bugs and issues in the game software.
  • Document and track bugs and issues using bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce and isolate issues for resolution.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on the status of testing and identified issues.
  • Collaborate with other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in regression testing and other quality assurance activities as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in gaming QA.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in gaming QA, showcasing a keen eye for detail, functionality, and player experience.

3+ years of hands-on quality assurance/testing experience within the gaming industry essential.

Enthusiastic about embracing new software tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities and stay at the forefront of industry trends.

In-depth familiarity with Unreal Engine, essential for executing tasks efficiently within the development pipeline.

Capable of working autonomously with a high level of self-direction and motivation, ensuring consistent progress and quality in assigned tasks.

Demonstrates a natural inclination towards creativity coupled with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and adept time management abilities, facilitating seamless collaboration and efficient task completion.

Proven ability to collaborate within a team environment, thriving under deadlines and time constraints while maintaining a positive and constructive attitude.
