Radiography Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiography Department as a skilled and motivated professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality radiography services to patients in assigned areas, working under the leadership of an exceptional Radiology Manager dedicated to innovation and excellence.

The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers a wide range of services, including General and Emergency Radiography, CT, Fluoroscopy, and Ultrasound. As a member of the team, you will work collaboratively with other Radiographers to provide a comprehensive service to both inpatients and outpatients.

• Participate daily in the general radiography service, proactively engaging in training for upskilling and professional development.
• Contribute to out-of-hours service as required.
• Maintain high standards in patient care and radiographic techniques, ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles (justification, optimisation, ALARA, and dose limits).
• Comply with statutory directives and keep clinical and technical knowledge up to date.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Report any equipment faults to the designated supervisor and log them appropriately.

• Must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography.
• Must hold CORU registration.
• Knowledge of the RIS system and experience with on-call services.
