As part of the psychology team, you will work alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide support and treatment to clients with diverse mental health needs.
This opportunity presents an excellent chance to develop your skills and contribute to the rehabilitation of individuals in custody. Regular contact with community agencies and family members will enable you to understand the complexities of reintegration into society. Additionally, consultation, training, and education roles within the IPS organisation will broaden your expertise.
To succeed in this position, candidates must hold a postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Experience in addressing emotional difficulties, consultation, and further qualifications are desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be eligible for graduate membership of the PSI or British Psychological Society (BPS).
