Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our Application Security Platform Squad.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable and maintainable applications using Python or Go.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining tools for Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), and secret scanning.

In addition, they will build a centralized scanning service that integrates seamlessly into developer workflows.

The ideal candidate will have strong engineering skills with the ability to design and develop maintainable, scalable applications.

They will also have experience in agile environments (Scrum) and an understanding of test automation tools.

A strong analytical mindset with the ability to tackle ambiguous situations and make timely decisions is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-standard applications using Python, Go, or Java.
  • Proficiency with frameworks such as Spring, Apache Commons, and experience with Kubernetes or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS, along with relevant certifications.
  • Bonus points for application security experience (Pen Testing, SAST, DAST, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools (JUnit, PyUnit, Cypress) and automation/pipeline implementation.
