We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a 5-axis CNC machinist.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and modifying CNC programs, setting up and adjusting complex machine tools, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize CNC programs to achieve optimal results.
- Set up and configure CNC machines, including tool selection and fixture setup, to meet quality standards.
- Inspect parts using callipers, micrometers, and CMMs to verify compliance with tolerances.
- Troubleshoot machine and programming issues to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel to ensure seamless workflow.
- Train and mentor junior machinists and operators to enhance skill levels.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, machine settings, and modifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in 5-axis CNC machining is highly recommended.
- Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming principles is essential.
- Familiarity with Mazak, DMG Mori, Chiron machines is beneficial but not required.
- Knowledge of Hypermill software is advantageous but not necessary.
- Familiarity with Heidenhain controllers is helpful but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is vital.
