Role Overview

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple after-school programs, fostering a positive and engaging environment for children.

This role entails managing a team of staff, ensuring they receive adequate training and support to excel in their roles.

A key aspect of this position is creating innovative and educational activities that cater to the diverse needs of children.

The Area Manager will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, maintaining strong relationships with parents, school staff, and local communities.

Additionally, the incumbent will conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with high standards and assist with recruitment and training strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of after-school programs across different locations.
  • Support and guide staff members to ensure they feel well-trained and confident in their roles.
  • Develop engaging activities tailored to meet the unique needs of children.
  • Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, school staff, and local communities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor centers' performance.
  • Assist with recruitment and training strategies to enhance staff capabilities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing teams and overseeing daily operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with children and families.
