Urology Nurse Care Specialist

As a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist in the field of Urology, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient care and education to patients and healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities:- Evaluating patients with Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) and performing procedures such as catheterization and urodynamics.
- Developing and managing treatment plans for patients with LUTS, providing essential follow-up and support through nurse-led clinics.
- Overseeing all aspects of patient care under Urology services, including assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of direct patient care.
- Supporting the Urology Department's nursing services and providing specialized Urology nursing care for patients who require support and treatment throughout their care journey.
- A registered nurse/midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by NMBI/Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- At least 1 year post-registration full-time experience in the division of the register in which the application is being made.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the specialist area of Urology or eligibility to attain one year clinical specialist experience.
- Successful completion of a post-registration program of study at QQI, National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 9 or higher award (equivalent to 60 ECTS or above).
