Packaging Operations Director

Job Overview:

 

A seasoned leader is sought to oversee the entire operations of a packaging facility, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and driving process improvements.

 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams, budgeting, and strategic planning. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction

  • Manage and motivate a team of production staff, providing coaching and guidance as needed

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and achieve business objectives

  • Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to ensure product excellence

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to reduce waste and improve profitability

  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field

  • Proven track record of success in operations management, preferably in the packaging industry

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
