Lead MES Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned project manager with experience in leading complex Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects.

About the Role

As a Senior MES Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the full lifecycle implementation of Werum PAS-X MES, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, validation, and go-live at a global pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, including key milestones, critical paths, dependencies, and resource allocations.
  • Serve as the central liaison between site leadership, global IT, business functions, and external partners.
  • Oversee organizational change management activities, including communication, stakeholder readiness, and end-user training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 15+ years industry experience, with 5+ years of experience in MES project management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-phase delivery schedules and project budgets exceeding €5M.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or biotech environment with strong knowledge of GMP, manufacturing operations, and electronic batch records (EBR).
