About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer who will lead the development of large-scale data pipelines, work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, and drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and building scalable data architectures, working with big data technologies like Spark/Databricks, and developing complex SQL queries.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines using Spark/Databricks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Develop and maintain databases and data warehouses
  • Work with cloud-based technologies like Azure/AWS
  • Serve as a leader/maintain a mentorship role

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and principles
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark/Databricks
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies like Azure/AWS
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
