Main Duties:
  • Recruit and assess potential foster carers, identifying those who meet the necessary criteria
  • Match foster carers with children who require care, using your professional judgment to prioritize their needs and well-being
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to provide high-quality care
  • Undertake regular reviews, long-term matching reports, and disruption reports, presenting these to the relevant committees
  • Attend case conferences, child-in-care review meetings, and other meetings related to foster placements

In this role, you will work closely with our recruitment officer, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in our care. You will be responsible for recording data and information in line with GDPR guidelines and company policy, and for maintaining accurate records of all interactions and correspondence.
