Data Management Specialist

As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of organizational data. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and implementing effective data management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed technical documents outlining business processes and data flows.
- Identify and document key data management controls across the data lifecycle.
- Maintain and update the organization's Data Catalogue and Data Dictionary.
- Assess data platforms and reporting solutions to ensure effective data management controls are in place.
- Review and update internal standards and procedures to align with relevant external guidance.
- Lead a team of business analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and engagement.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a data/reporting or IT risk/audit management environment.
- Proven understanding and experience of business/process analysis, data management controls or IT controls, preferably in the context of Financial Services.
- Strong grasp of data management principles, particularly BCBS239.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of at least one data governance toolset would be an advantage.
