Structural Engineering Professional

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineering Professional to join our dynamic engineering team in Cork. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in structural engineering within a collaborative and professional environment.

About the Role

This position involves supporting senior engineers in the design, analysis, and inspection of structural components. As a Structural Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for preparing structural drawings, plans, and specifications for project teams.

You will conduct site inspections and evaluations under the supervision of senior engineers and contribute to structural reports, technical documents, and engineering calculations. Additionally, you will coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring all designs comply with local codes, standards, and regulations. You will also stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze structural systems using software tools and manual calculations.
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of projects and designs.
  • Cordinate with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering (internship experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
