The Reservations Agent Role

This position entails being the first point of contact for guests, assisting with bookings, providing excellent customer service, and answering queries in a warm, friendly, and courteous manner.

  • Assist guests with booking enquiries via telephone, online, and third-party websites.
  • Achieve the best possible room rate and ensure sales targets are met.
  • Handle all guest queries in a helpful and timely manner.
  • Update the reservation system daily.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • High literacy in computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience using Opera Cloud would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Be highly organised.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in customer service and/or hotel industry.
