About the Role

The successful candidate will have ownership of the overall financial planning process, working closely with senior stakeholders across various teams within CRH Group. They will be responsible for overseeing all reporting processes for a business segment, providing high-quality financial information to support informed decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and work on key internal and external reporting processes, including monthly Board and management reporting, financial planning and analysis, forecast, and annual budgeting. The team also prepares quarterly briefing materials to support external results announcements and business performance-related sections of the 10-Q/10-K.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee key processes and resources, ensuring timely delivery of financial information.
  • Lead and coach the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues in Divisional offices and operations, providing regular support on reporting and other issues.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable financial data, identifying and resolving reporting issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with the wider R&PA team to ensure seamless integration of processes and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification (ACA, CFA, or equivalent), with a minimum of 8 years PQE experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of relevant management skills and financial expertise.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise effectively with senior management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
