Job Summary
Join our dynamic bakery team as a Sales Bakery Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include greeting guests, serving them quickly and efficiently, baking morning goods and hot foods, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. Excellent communication skills, being naturally cheerful, patient and friendly are essential qualities for this role.
A retail background or relevant customer service experience is highly desirable, but full training will be provided to ensure your success in this role. You will be working independently or as part of a team, so the ability to build relationships with colleagues and guests is important.
This role requires flexibility, with variable days and hours of work. You will be contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period, including public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
